Combination keypad locks are a locking system that requires a keypad instead of a conventional key. As more locks are becoming keyless, these are becoming much more common for people to use on their houses because they won’t need to haul around a set of keys all the time.
While these are certainly as safe as having a conventional locking system, this new style is not without its security risks. If someone is slick enough to record your door from afar, then you risk them reading your keypad and risking the sanctity of your home.
